CONTRACT FOR EVENT SERVICES
This constitutes an agreement for photographic services. It is also understood that any and all negatives and digital images remain the property of R. J. K. Photography, and they may be used for advertising, display, or any purpose thought proper by R. J. K. Photography.
The photographer for this event will be ____________________________. Photographer may substitute another photographer to take the photographs in the event of photographer's illness, family emergencies, or scheduling conflicts beyond the control of the Photographer. In the event of such substitution, photographer warrants that the photographer taking the photographs shall be a competent professional and made available at No Extra Charge.
If the photographer cannot perform this Contract due to fire or other casualty, theft, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to photographer's illness or emergency, then the photographer shall return the retainer to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the photographer. Although all care will be taken with the photographs taken at the wedding, the client agrees that the photographer limits any liability for loss, damage, or failure to deliver pictures, for any reason, to no more than the return of all payments made.
Photographer is the sole professional photographer allowed to photograph the event. Amateur photographers may take photos during the event if the do not interfere with the contracted photographer and only after the contracted photographer has finished taking the contracted photographs. If interference happens the contracted photographer will notify the designated family representative on site to handle the situation.
Upon signature, photographer reserves the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for these times and date. For this reason, a deposit of $250.00 is nonrefundable and non-transferable, even if the date is changed, postponed or the Event is canceled for any reason. All payments are due in
A non-refundable retainer is due at signing of this contract. The retainer will be equal to 1/2 of the current full cost of the service requested. At the photographer's discretion, a partial retainer may be accepted to hold the date. The balance due is to be paid two weeks prior to the service date.
